After realizing that we couldn’t stay holed up in our villa for the entire trip, we finally ventured out to explore the beautiful island of Santorini. And of course, to eat.
The food…
Let's start with the food. I've never eaten so well in my life. The Greek cuisine is incredible, and we savored every single meal. By far, our favorite restaurant on the island was called the Imerovigli Tavern. This little gem of a restaurant was about a 10 minute walk along the stunning Caldera from our villa. I can't even count how many times we ate here. We tried other places, but just kept coming back. If you are ever in Santorini, find this place. You won't be sorry.
